Can I transfer MSN email files/folder contents to Outlook email

I have both Outlook and MSN on this machine. I hate MSN email so I am
attempting to set up outlook (hopefully without crashing this Gateway Machine
again. Can I transfer the content of my MSN email account folders across to
MS Outlook email folders?
 
Are you using the MSN connector for Outlook, so that you are already
downloading your e-mail into Outlook from MSN? Or are you reading your MSN
e-mail in your web browser? The former is the only way I can think of to get
your MSN e-mail into Outlook, but you may want to double-check with my fellow
Outlook MVPs in microsoft.public.outlook.general - this is an Outlook
programming newsgroup.
 
Hi Eric...
Thanks for taking time out to help me. I started with MSN Mail then I spent
eons trying to set up my Outlook to let me access my MSN account mail, etc..
In the end Outlook mail even showed MSN and an MSN Server mail access points.
However, they did not go anywhere. I would just get the same error! message
telling me I had no MSN account. Go figure. I followed the http: path in the
error message and on my last check created a Windows Live acct. Still no
access through either inbox just more error! messages. I finally decided to
quit for the day. In the end my laptop ended up freezing, I could not even
get End Task to work. I had to remove the battery and then unplug the machine
to get rid of the mess. When I went back in McAfee said I was unprotected so
I had to hit that FIX button to stop the warnings poping up constantly. I am
not savy enough to try again. I should have realized that picking this
January 1st to fix my email was a lost cause.....I woke up New Year's morning
to find myself laying in a puddle of cat pee! I guess I must have done
something to offend the Gods!
