Is there a way to create and test ASP pages in Windows XP? How do I do that?

If I am to install Windows 2000 on the same hard drive (it's not divided, only has a C drive) to replace XP, can I do that without losing any of my files/programs?

Hi,

In WinXP Pro, install IIS (Control Panel/Add & Remove/Windows Components) to
support testing web pages. This is not available on WinXP Home systems.

As to your other question, no. You can't install Win2000 over WinXP, you
would need to format and start clean.

And if I am to install xp pro over xp home edition will I lose any data? Appreciate the help.

Hi,

Not normally, but it is always advisable to backup any critical data before
doing a system upgrade.
