Can I sync iPod Touch 2Gen with Outlook 2000 contacts & calendar?

I just got an iPod Touch, 2nd Gen, and I want to sync it with my contacts and
calendar in Outlook 2000. However, all documentation for iPod says it will
sync with Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007, but no mention of Outlook 2000.
When I sync my contacts and calendar are not synced.

Could you use an earlier version of iTunes? Have you asked in the iTunes
forums? Synching is not an Outlook function. You need to ask in a forum
dedicated to the sync tool.
