We have laptops that connect to our network using the standard VPN client
after connecting to the Internet. We set up the client to not save the
password. This is for security reasons as well as the fact that the folks
have to change their network passwords every 90 days.
We've already had 3 people so far this week complain that they can't connect
the VPN tunnel. Turns out that each one had checked the "Save the password"
box in the client window and it stopped connecting as she changed her
password.
We are trying to find a way to prevent people from being able to check that
box. Is there any way (hacks accepted) that we can accomplish this with the
built-in MS Network Connection?
TIA,
