Can I set up a budget here?

I want to keep track of my expenses. I use Quicken 2005 and am unhappy with
its performance, but I am able to link Quicken to my bank account, which I
like. what can I do here instead?

You may have posted this to an incorrect newsgroup. Access is a database
product that's part of Office Professional. Yes, you can create a database
that will track your expenses, but it's far faster to use a canned package
such as Quicken or Money (the Microsoft product)

You might try asking in a newsgroup related to Money (since Microsoft
doesn't have newsgroups for Quicken). Alternatively, see whether Intuit's
Support section helps (you can start at http://www.quicken.com)
