I have a headstrong daughter of 15yrs who will NOT go to bed when asked. Her
school work is suffering! Can I set a timer so our PC shuts down at a given
time without losing files. If anyone can help I would be very grateful.

Carey, thank you very much. I've found it and am now installing it. I will
now be able to call her 'sucker' instead of the other way round. Thanks again
from a grateful father.

Wow, if that was my daughter (luckily mine is only 5 right now) I'd have
removed the PC long ago.

Many years ago my father tried to cut back on my PC usage...it didn't work.
Get your daughter programming etc and put her skills to good use. Lets us
know how that timer goes as it might be a great way to force me to go to
bed.
