I don't want the sub page addresses to display

Also don't want some-one to try to list folder items such as looking in
directories

Thanx

You could use frames. However, search through this newsgroup to find the
reasons you shouldn't.

Make sure your host doesn't allow directory browsing, and make sure you have
default pages in your folders (such as index.htm, or whatever your host
requires.

Hi CV,

I am not sure I totally understand your question..but this is what I am
assuming:

If your site was http://www.yoursite.com

And you wanted people to see another area called mycars

What you would do is to create a folder called "mycars" and then in that
folder you would create an index.htm page (or whatever your host uses for a
default page..default.htm, Default.html, etc.) On that page you would put
your content.

If you then created a link to http://www.yoursite.com/mycars (note no page
is listed) People would then see what you put on the index.htm page in the
mycars folder.

Also if someone wanted to just look at the mycars folder..they will not be
able to see the individual files listed as long as you have a default page
there.
