Can I see my tasks and e-mails at the same time?

I really spend most of my time in Outlook viewing my e-mails. It would be
very helpful if I could find a way to keep that screen and still view my
tasks at the same time as well. I can't seem to find a way to make that
happen. Is it possible?
 
Outlook 2007 will do this for you with a new To-Do Bar that earlier versions don't have.

WIth your Inbox open, right-click your Tasks folder and choose Open in New
Window.
