Can I run Windows directly from my cd rom drive ???

I can run Linux, without installing, directly from my cd rom drive and want
to know if i can do this with Windows.

I would like to use a 500 meg flash drive for local storage and network
drives for mass storage.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know
