Hi,
I have a laptop running Windows XP with two NIC cards.
One is the onboard card, other one is externally connected to the
laptop.
I would like to connect one NIC card to an IP phone and the other card
to a PC
with the crossover cable.
My problem is at any time only one network card is active i.e. i am
able to ping to one of
the devices. How do i make both NIC cards as active and should be able
to ping to the devices attached to them?
thanks,
ravi

each netowrk card usually requires its own IP address in order to work
successfully. What are the IP addresses set as?
