As long as you don't run both on-access resident monitors at the same
time, it's fine. You have to chose one of them.

No, you can't. I have the manual F-Prot as a backup.....but I only run one
on access scanner.....EZ Trust.

I always picture two basketball players going for a jump ball.....they crash
into each other and miss the ball. Use that analogy for two on access
scanners.....grin.

I have NOD32 and Avast! 4 on one computer. NOD32 is fully functional
with all protection on. Avast is set to only scan outgoing E-mail. And
of course I can run a manual scan with Avast any time.

Windows 2003 is the first Microsoft OS that supports running two
antivirus software in parallel. Work in app. 90-95% of all cases.

Some commercial AVs do not allow competition. It's not a good
idea to use multiple AV's in real-time at the same time. EZTrust
allows the following free AV's to be installed on my Win98SE.
At times, additional opinions are always nice to have. :-)

Avast
AVG
Antivir
F-Prot for DOS
