I have Win XP Pro and I've tried to remove access to IE.....so that it can
not be accessed. I've tried set program access and defaults and it does not
work.

I tried to delete iexplorer.exe but it keeps comming back because of the
protection.

I read on MS site that I can make the ieAccess tag in the "unattend.txt file
be....ieAccess = Off. But I cant find this file.

Can anyone help? How can I remove IE so that knowone can access it, its
not an option in Add/Remove programs either.

thanks for any help.

In Add/Remove Programs, go to Add/Remove Windows components (it's a button
on the side of the program list) and uncheck Internet Explorer, follow the
prompts.....................POOF, it's gone.

I've tried that, it does not work. Even after I remove it its still there.

Could it be because I have MSN 8 installed? Basically I only want access
allowed through the MSN 8 browser...not through IE itself.

Please help.
