Can I remove a page from navigation without deleting it?

Hi -

I took a pile of time to create a page with quite a few pages liked to that
one. I've since decided that perhaps my site is not really ready for those
specific pages. Eventually I'd like to use them, so I don't want to delete
them. However, I would like to remove them from the navigation so that all
links to the pages will be broken. Can it be done? Or perhaps there is a
better way to accomplish the same effect?

Thanks,
Allison

Well, I think I spoke too soon... Do I simply left click on the page in
navigation view and select "included in link bars"? The page turned grey
and now the pages are gone from the link bars. Did you think that covered
everything except for the few links I created on pages? Am I right?

Learning, learning,
Allison

You can rename the page (and tell FrontPage in the dialogue that pops up not
to adjust links)

Or you can right click on the box in navigation and tell it to hide from
navigation elements

Or you can remove the page from the nav structure (delete it, and pay
attention to the box that pops up asking if you want to remove the nav part
or the file itself)

When in the nav view, select the page and hit delete. You're asked if
you want to delete it or just remove it from the navagation.

Duh - I meant RIGHT click! Got my lefts and rights mixed up! Maybe what I
really need is kindergarten!

Yes, I think you just delete it from the navigation view/diagram thing, this
just deletes it from the navigation not from your web overall. (I don't use
it so don't know for sure).
