I have an eMachine T5226 that has
Vista Home Premium 32 bit
intel motherboard with 945G Express chipset and ICH7
2 ram slots that are supposed to support only 2 GB ram
currently has 2 GB DDR2-533 RAM (Kingston ValueRam PC2-4200)
BIOS is dated 2/27/2007
It's set to 800MHz fsb and I don't know if this particular board
supports 1066 MHz fsb.
I'm wondering if I can replace the PD 925 with a Q6600?
Will the Q6600 downclock and work with an 800 MHz FSB?
Would a 2GB ram module work in this to give me a total of 3GB ram?
TIA
