can i play a movie on a tablet pc from a external hard disk?

is it possible to play a movie which is stored on an external computer hard drive if it is connected through its USB? suppose the tablet pc has only 1GB of RAM and 1.2 MHz speed.
 
Probably not without the movie stuttering.

Only answer is try it and see, you may get lucky, but I doubt it.

But for your sake I hope I'm wrong :)
 
It will really depend on your device. Those specs are a little low, but it may work. It will also depend on if your device is able to access the usb drive, Does it support ubs OTG?
