Can I place tasks directly onto my Calendar?

I just entered in everything from my daytimer onto my Tasks lists; then I
opened Calendar expecting to see visible on the day to which I assigned the
task, but NOTHING!!! Is it possible to automatically transfer all this
information to the Calendar without manually entering each item again?
 
Drag the task to the calendar to create a calendar item.
