Can I move $ntUninstallKB...'s ?

This was the 1st update of a clean XPSP2. I have sixty of these things in
F:\Windows. Maybe there was some other way than the Administrator option to
update which would have created fewer files? Can I create a subdirectory to
hold them?? Do I need to keep them?

Thanks Mike: I presume that these files are required to uninstall - or could
I still uninstall using the "spuninst.exe"'s in ...\Distrib...\Download ?

They are files required if you decide to uninstall updates.. I always remove
them..

But for the new updates that came out regularly, it is good to move them to
a diiferent folder.

I mean it is better to move them to a place he wants instead of deleting.
Move because the OP asks to move them to a subfolder.

They don't need to be kept if the computer runs ok after installing
updates..

You don't know what will happen the next day. You never use all programs or
functions everytime. So there is a chance that something went wrong and you
didn't notice that immediately so it is better to keep it for at least a
week.

That's why they can move them anywhere they want, as long as they move them back if they decide to uninstall. I hope that answers
Love Music's question.

I don't remember suggesting that they are deleted immediately after the
updates arrive..
