Can I mix DDR266 and DDR333?

I have a Dell 2400 that came with DDR333 memory. I have a stick of
DDR266 memory that I would like to utilize if possible. Will this
combination work?

Usually, yes. The mixed pair will default to the slow speed of 133MHz. Place
the largest module in the slot closest to the CPU. Reset BIOS defaults,
before booting, then set BIOS parameters as required.
