I've got several machines that need to have accurate time. Instead of having
them all go out to the internet to get a time update is there a way I can
have one machine(Pc) get the correct time and have all the others reference
(point at) that Pc for the correct time? I'm trying to keep a Cisco Access
Point, Avaya Phone Switch, Voice mail server, Firewall log Pc, etc., up to
date/time. Brad

Yes. Issue the command

net time \computername-of-the-server /set

on each of the other computers.

Would this work if the clients were, say, Win2K or Win98?

Thanks for the information. That seems to work great for my other Pc on the
network but my Cisco AP doesn't seem to like syn'n up with my WinXp Pc. If
that's the only one I have to send out to get a syn I happy with that.
Again thanks. Brad

You're welcome. Glad to help.

Sorry, I don't know anything about the Cisco Access point, and can't help
with that.
