Can I lock the taskbar in Windows 2000

Dear NG,

XP lets me lock the taskbar from taskbar properties. Can the same effect be
obtained in 2000, perhaps by modifying a registry key?

Would be most grateful for any help.

That feature isn't present in Windows 2000 (unfortunately).
