We have an eager beaver in the office who is constantly changing everyone's
appointment descriptions. I can't lock her out of editing totally, but
would like to be able to lock some entries so that she can't change them

Exchange server? Right click on the calendar folder(s) and choose
properties. Add or change that person's permissions so she can only edit
appointments she made.

Better still: tackle the real problem which is the person>
This is a management problem, not a computer problem. Firewalls can
only do so much....

You are right of course. I was just hoping that it could be done.
