Can I load Publisher 2000 for Windows 98 on Windows XP

I have just changed my computer and this is now installed with Windows XP.
Unfortunately I cannot load my copy of Publisher 2000 which was bought for a
Windows 98 version. Do I need to buy an up dated version?

Microsoft's Help system has landed you in the wrong newsgroup: this
one is for the database program Microsoft Access.

Please use the dropdown box (the one that says "Access" by default)
to select a more appropriate newsgroup.

That said... WindowsXP will happily run Access 2.0 which came out in
1994. I'm sure the same is the case with Publisher.
