I have a booklet with a sheet called TIME, the date is in merged cells
A:16-B:16 and the time is in cells C:16-D:16. Can I link the cells A16-D16
to a sheet 24HOUR REPORT to cell A15? I've tried and I haven't had any luck
and I have had no luck

Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark!

Use:

=A16+C16

Better than using merged cells is use:

Format > Cells > Alignment
Horizontal dropdown "Centre across selection"
OK

I didn't have any luck with that. The date shows up fine and the time says
0:00. On the TIME SHEET Cells A16-B16 are in a date format and cells C16-C16
are in a text format for military time. I'll keep trying.

Thanks

Hi Mark!

Now you tell me :)

In that case use:

=A16+TIME(--LEFT(C16,2),--RIGHT(C16,2),0)
Format (eg) dd-mmm-yyyy h:mm AM/PM

Oops! I'm sorry. I'll give a whirl tomorrow.

Thanks so much for your help.
