I have Excel 2002 running on Windows XP professional.

Is there any way to increase the number of characters
that can be displayed in a cell. When I merge cells and
wrap text, after it gets to the 1024 character max the
text is no longer visible.

Thanks

Gerry

Thats the max number that can be visible, you can put something like
32767 in one but you aren't going to see them.

That's what the specs say, but it's not correct. With regularly spaced newline
characters (ASCII LF, 10 decimal), word-wrap enabled, small typesize, and extra
wide and tall cells, Excel will happily display 10,000 or more characters.

The OP may be able to insert newlines in order to display more than 1024
characters.
