I recently had my disc reformatted and notice that all my photos over the
years have now gained the .jpg suffix after their titles which makes them
less readable and in some cases makes the title too long. Maybe the
answer to you guys is simple, maybe not but can someone please suggest a fix
for this?

Good morning.

Start
Run
Type "control folders" without the quotes
Click on View
UNtick the option to hide extensions for known file types

(At least that's what I'm GUESSING is doing it.)

It may also be under the next tab - file types, navigate to JPG by scrolling
down, highlight it, click on advanced, and make sure that it isn't set to
always show that extension.

Many thanks Galen - knowledge is a wonderful thing! - simple when you know
how.
Take it you're on the pacific coast somewhere? 5.01am ?! you needn't have
got up so early just to answer my question

Thanks again

Not a problem and glad to have helped. I ended up waking up early for no
real reason, sometimes it happens. And I'm in North Eastern Maine, not far
from the Canadian line.
