With several older versions of Windows, but note that it won't
run under Vista. Windows Mail is the new version that comes
with Vista.

SO, WE HAVE NO CHOICE WITH VISTA! I just got my vista and have had nothing
but problems with windows mail. Does anyone know why it constantly has to be
rebooted to keep it running?

How exactly do you have no choice? Install Windows Live Mail or
Thunderbird or the dozens of other mail clients.

May be you have some 3rd party software interfering with it, along the lines
of a virus scanner, Norton and McAfee are famous around these parts for
breaking everything.

I think you can download a choice called Windows Live Mail.
Wait for someone to tell you how.

Where do I download these mail servers from? And how do I install? I have
looked and cannot find any on the computer.

The only way to run Outlook Express while running Vista is to install a
virtual machine in Vista, and then install Windows XP in the virtual
machine. This isn't as impossible as it sounds, but it also isn't very likely.
