Microsoft either started hiring superb programmers, has made WinXP (Pro, at
least, which is what I use) finally so secure, or the hackers have given up
on their hobbies.
For a long while now, there aren't any security, critical or (as many)
updates/upgrades on windows update.
Just to be sure, the site is still windowsupdate.microsoft.com right? J/K.
What can I say? ... Go M$....

Nope. MS is just putting out the patches on a once a month basis, for the
most part. There are plenty of holes left unpatched, as of yet.

Now get back under the bridge where you belong.

?! Their product still stinks in terms of patches - they're just not
putting out the patches in a timely manner. The holes are still there.
