can I find deleted programs?

i was cleaning out my computer and accidentally (as
opposed to) deleted Microsoft Picture It! How can I get
my program back? PS-No, I don't have the original program
CD. Thanks!- Rachelle
 
Did you delete the actual program, or just the shortcut to the program?

If you deleted the actual program, the only way to get it back is to
reinstall it.

.... unless it's still in the Recycle Bin, which you can restore.
 
Er, why don't you have the program CD? You really should
hold on to those ya know! Seriously, without the CD it's
likely you've lost the program - especially if you
uninstalled it.

Question: Does System Restore keep a copy of the programs
themselves or just system settings?
