Subject pretty much says it all.

Life is simpler and I'd like to just use Windows Calendar on my new
computer. Can I get the data out of my Outlook Calendar into
Windows Calendar?

Jo

Thank you so much. Will try that in a little bit.

I had Office 2000 on my old computer. Some idiot tech put an
illegal copy of Office 2003 on it while making 'repairs'. Had a
heck of a time retrieving my data from that fiasco. Now I've got a
new computer and a trial copy of Office 2007 with outlook and just
want to rescue my data. At least now I'm retired and don't need all
the bells and whistles.

what version of outlook? If 2007, save it as an icalendar and open
it in windows calendar.

if the trial hasn't expired, you can use it to save the calendar as an ics.
If you haven't already set up outlook, copy the pst from the old computer
and make a profile in 2007 that uses the old pst. Select the calendar
folder and go to File, Save as.

Thank you so much. I'd searched everything i could think of, but I
kept wanting to export from Outlook. Save as... just didn't occur
to me.

Now I've got all my appointments and my extended families birthdays,
and that's all I really need anymore.
