Can I download updates onto CD for use on another computer?

Hello there, I'm interested to know whether it is
possible to save downloads to disc in order to transfer
to another computer, I'm asking this because my other
network connection is slow and I can't be arsed to wait
for teh downloads to finish.

Can you help?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and earn you

If for a specific machine, I'd do it like:

With machine on slow connection:
Goto http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/fi/default.asp , let it scan for
updates.
Take note of what updates it would like to have. DON'T download and install

On machine with faster connection:
Goto http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/fi/default.asp
On left bar, choose "Windows Update", then choose appropriate OS and
language.
Choose category, then choose the updates the "autoupdate" screen listed on
other machine and add them to basket. Then just download them to some
appropriate directory. Install updates. Start from the beginning until no
updates....
