Lee;
There is no downgrade path to Windows 95, there is no upgrade path
from Windows 95 to Windows XP for that matter.
You will need to back-up all important data before you begin FDISK,
format and installation of Windows 95.

Make sure you can get drivers for Windows 95 and also make sure your
hardware will adequately work with Windows 95.

Lastly, be sure this is what you want to do.
In many cases, Windows 95 is truly obsolete as it has no security and
no further updates will be provides by Microsoft since its life cycle
has passed.

You don't say why you want to go back to Win95 but if the
reason is that you are having problems with XP I would
suggest that your efforts would be better spent solving
your XP problems than moving back to an obsolete operating
system.

I very seriously doubt you'll find Win95 drivers for hardware certified to
run WinXP :-(
