Scandisk has been replaced by Error Checking. Right click the drive you wish
to check for errors, select Properties, then the Tools tab, and finally
click the Error Checking - Check Now button.

And what the hell is that supposed to impart to the original poster? Type chkdsk in a word document, notepad, regedit?
