I've got an Acer T180 with XP MCE 2005 on it. Acer bundle lots of crap on it
that I don't need, so rather than an upgrade, can I do a clean install from
the Vista Home Premium media set that they are sending to me via Microsoft
Upgrade Web?
If so, what information do I need during the setup process? Do I need any
information relating to the old install, i.e. a product key, or old operating
system media or an operating system already on the disk?
I'd rather flatten the machine completely and do a plan non-Acer'ed install,
but as I was provided with no installation media, I'm worried that I'll end
up with a useless machine (part complete upgrade etc).
