Can I 'display as' in Outlook 2000 to hide real contact name?

I just had my software reinstalled (virus attack) and now
all my contacts have their full name displayed when I send
them e-mails. I know before this I was able to abbreviate
their names so they wouldn't be displayed, but now I don't
have a 'display as' option, only 'file as' and I can't
figure out how to change things. Ideas????

Post your Outlook version. If it is earlier than 2002, post your mail
support mode as well.

That helps. You are probably in Corp/Workgroup mode. If so, you should be
able to double click in the email field to bring up the Display As field so
you can edit it.
