To elaborate on Jerry's response, you can create one or more trendlines for each
series in a chart (as long as the chart type supports a trendline). Every point in
the series is included in the calculated trendline. If you want to compute a
trendline for only part of a series, you need to add a series that includes only the
points you're interested in, and make a trendline for the added series.
