In Powerpoint 2003 there was a tool icon that alowed the user to increase or
decrease the spacing between bullets. I can't find it on 2007. Using the
line spacing (paragraph) settings don't deliver the same results.

Unfortunately, the line spacing was changed in PPT 2007. We now have more
control over indents and stuff (which is good), but the dialog box is harder
to use (which sucks). It's just the Word dialog box for this stuff -- but it
wasn't adapted for PPT users. Sometimes Microsoft takes the consistency crap
too far, if you ask me.

In the line spacing (paragraph) settings dialog, choose Line Spacing
Multiple. Then you can set it to less than 1.0 lines (use, like, .8 or .85
or .9 or .95 there). Or more, if you prefer. The before and after spacing
must be set as points instead of lines. I know, I don't like it, either.
