Can I choose which items I want to share in an Exchange Calendar

Our company has just started using an exchange calendar. Is there an option I
can choose that will allow me to post public meetings ect. to the exchange
calendar and maintain my privacy on non business appointments on my personal
calendar?

Create in a public folder the calendar you want everyone to see.
