Can I change the default Search "Look in" location?

When I go to Search, the "Look In" location always defaults to all
Local Hard Drives. I can pull down that menu and select just C:,
but that choice doesn't stick. Is there a way to set the default to
C: so I don't have to change it every time?

There may be a way to do what you want but I don't know it. Instead I have
a workaround to suggest. Create a shortcut to your C: drive. Place it
somewhere handy if you search C: often. Right click on the shortcut and
select Search. The search window will open with the C: already designated
in the "look in" section.

Odd my defaults to C:\ I'm using classic search.
