I tried office 2003 with the new computer I got. I didn't like it enough to
upgrade from 2000. Can I do anything to get those emails imported to my 2000
after I took 2003 off the computer? Probably banging my head against a tree
but am hoping someone can help me.

Hi Arlene,

Outlook 2003 introduced a new improved unicode format for Personal Folder Files, but is also backward compatible with the older version of .PST files. If your current .PST file is
unicode, you will need to create a new .PST file in the older format, then import the existing unicode information into the file. Your new .PST will then work with any version of Outlook.

To tell which format your existing .PST file is, right click on your Personal Folders file inside of Outlook and choose properties. Click on the Advanced button and check the Format type.
If it says Personal Folders or Personal Folders File (97-2002), your file will work with Outlook 2000 as is.

Thanks,
