I have PowerPoint2000. Can I burn presentations onto CD?
I have Nero and, so far, am unable to get it to work.
I've put my presentation into a folder and have dragged
and dropped till I'm pooped. No other options except to
hope someone out there knows? Thanks in advance!

Please let us know step by step how your setup your files for burning. Also
specify the problem....no autorun, file won't open when clicked, etc. Got to
know whether it is a PPoint, Nero or System problem.

Tell us more. What problems are you having? Do you get an error message?
Are you opening Nero and doing the drag and drop there? After dragging and
dropping, are you clicking the "burn" button?

This is Pat answering your questions the best I can: yes,
I do click burn, no burning takes place (no sounds or
light flashing on drive) but then the message after says,
burn was completed. In Nero, I'm clicking the AudioVideo
choice most of the times I've tried, but I've tried all
the choices. Not sure what you mean by "no autorun". I
put the presentation into a folder which I then drag over
to the Nero burn area. Not one thing is burned after all
is said and done,no text, no pictures, no sounds. It's my
first time trying. I've been using PhotoShow which is SO
easy, but I want more options in the shows I make so
PowerPoint is the thing I need. Am ready to rip it out of
the computer! Is there a setting I should check on my
computer?

Pat,
How do I turn that "option" off?
To turn of the "simulation" in Nero Version 5
When you click to "Write CD" on the "Burn" tab, there is a section headed
"Action" with 4 options.....

Untick "Determine max speed"
Untick the "simulation"
Tick the "Write"
Tick the "Finalize CD"

Then click "Write" to start toasting your blank CD.
