Can I assign series of tasks to a contact with BCM 2007?

When you get a new lead (contact) it would be great to assign a series of
activities including phone follow-up, email, handwritten notes, sending
interesting articles, etc.

Is this possible?
 
You can always link any business record in outlook to bcm by using Link to
Record button on the Business Contact manager toolbar

there is no built-in way to create something of a "workflow" to assign a
series of different tasks. This kind of functionality is present (in spades)
in MS CRM Dynamics 4.0.

To accomplish something similar in BCM is a more manual process.

Consider manually defining a set of interations you want to have occur...per
your list. Then, for each contact, create a recurring appointment for the
item....for instance. "send interesting article" every 6 months.

It IS possible to create something like this programmatically but I have not
done so nor have I seen anything like this except for a few examples on the
BCM Team Blog.

If you have any developer experience, you can probably use that example to
get yourself pointed in the right direction.
