Can HP Laserjet 8000 parts be used on a Laserjet 5si?

Just wondering. My 5si's control panel (with the display) is losing
pixels and I have a chance to get an 8000N's panel at no cost. The
buttons are in the same place, but they are different shapes.

I just saw a 5Si display panel on eBay -- item 3429413463. I have no
interest in this auction, just thought I'd mention that I see them on
eBay all the time.
