I can't see where this is possible, any help?

Home versions of Windows cannot join a Domain, sorry. You'll need
Business or Ultimate to do that.

Dave

This is off topic, but someone told me the Windows ME can join a domain.
Does anyone know if this is true? If so, MS did at one stage allow home
versions of their OS to join a domain.

Windows 9x and ME cannot "join" a domain in the true sense since they cannot
have/create a computer account. However, go to Control Panel, Network on
Windows ME and in the properties of File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft
Networks, add you domain name and you can login to the domain, access
shares, etc.

Thanks for the clarification Rakesh. Am I correct in saying that unlike in
Windows 9x/Me, you cannot log in to a domain with XP home or Vista
Basic/Premium?
