can geocities.com sites be accessed on windows xp?

i have had windows xp for almost a year and its soo
annoying because i cannot access any sites that are built
at http://www.geocities.com. is it just my computer, or
is XP not compatible to access it?

It's not XP.

Do you have any security popup or ad blocking software. Sometimes popup or
ad blockers will prevent access to Geocities sites. You may have other
security software installed, a firewall or antivirus that may have a popup
or ad blocker feature or some other feature that is blocking access,
