Hi,

I just did a clean install on an old laptop (w98 SE) and loaded FP2000
and all appeared to be OK until I hit save as and then I get

R6025 pure function call ..

I won't bore you with further details - yet :-)

I don't have Office loaded on the machine - is that the probem.

Have tried repair and reinstall to no avail ..

any help would be appreciated,

thanks

Michael

FP2000 can run standalone.

thanks,

so do you think a service pack is the problem ?

If it is then I'm in a bighole methinks ?!

I went to MS Updates and installed pretty much eveything available
except things like the Chinese version :-)

During the reinstall (I tried both repair and reinstall) I got a
message - error 1904 mcps failed to register.

regards,

Mike

thanks, this is where we're (using what we English call the Royal we
here :-) at.

I worked through the above but without any success

I uninstalled FP 2000 and reinstalled it from my Office 2000 cd along
with Office - origianally I installed FP from a stand alone cd

FP seems OK now but when I hit save as I get ..

...frontpage.exe R6025 pure virtual function call

I haven't yet installed the Office 2k updates as I figured this may
make things worse - what would you suggest ?

thanks

Michael
