Do I need to use a IIS webserver for DUA server or can I use Apache?
I have created an apache 1.3.27 component, and a PHP component. They are
currently set up to run on my system so if you want them you'll need to
email me and let me know how your system is set up so I can customise them
for you.
If you're feeling confident, however, they're up on www.xpefiles.com

Heidi,

That's an interesting website you have there, but your offer is not
really what I am looking for. At least I think. It appears you have
a Apache webserver in your shareware folder which allows you to run
Apache on XPE, correct?

What I want to know is different. I want to know if a Linux Apache
Webserver can be used to provide a DUA file server. I do not
understand DUA and I want to learn something about it. If I can use a
Linux Apache Webserver, I don't have to buy a license for Win2k
server. If its absolutely not possible to use DUA without a Win2xK
server then I have justification to order one. Since this is early in
a project and I am not sure if WinXPE is the right choice, I am trying
to minimize expenses at this time.

I will visit your site again when I have time.

Thanks.

Ah, shows how much attention I was paying. Saw 'apache' posted. And xpefiles
isn't my site, it's Brad's. I don't use DUA so I wouldn't know.

John,

DUA uses simple HTTP requests to complete the transfer of the DUA files
and/or scripts. Should be no problem using either IIS, or Apache.

btw. Make yourself an account on xpefiles, and upload resources that would
be useful to the community. (C'mon everyone's doing it!)
