Hi:
There are 4 PCs and one Laptop in my small home-office.
Now, I need to add another, new PC with Vista.

My ISP allows only 5 Internet connection which we, the family
has. Then, it's problem if I bring another PC with Vista in my
home-office.

I rarely use Laptop, probably once or twice per month. Instead,
I need a brand-new PC with Internet Connection for a good use.

Is there any way to disable Built-in Wireless on Laptop in order
to accomodate a new PC with Vista which needs Internet connection?

Any inputs and suggestions would be truly appreciated.

Are you not using a router? How do you connect to the Internet with your
computers?

do you have a Comcast Home Networking gateway? If yes, unplug it and
plug it back in again. A recent change was made (in the past 60
days) and you no longer are limited to 5 simultaneous connections.
Power cycling the device will make the change for you.

Locate, buy and install one of the broadband routers onto your
network, in between your ISP service unit and your "5" PCs. This
router only uses one IP address, which is shared over your network.
You should buy a router which offers "wireless" networking since this
may be helpful for you laptop (you can then move it from room to room
with you.)
