Can Defender be set up to run a scan at Start-up

I'm looking or a way to have Defender run a scan when I turn my computer on
instead of at a particular time of day. Is this possible at all?
 
Hi Sue,

make a shortcut by drag and drop from the WD file MpCmdRun.exe an drop
him in the program,s > startup folder
then click on properties of that link and change the line:
"C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MpCmdRun.exe" to
"C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MpCmdRun.exe" -Scan -1
exactly as above (copy > paste will do)

The scan will run at start up.
