Any help would be greatly appreciate.
First I have 5 G5's all with Panther on a 2003 Network. I Have Services for
Macintosh and AppleTalk loaded on the server 2003 in question. I have Mac
Volumes defined and can see them when I look in the MMC for file shares. I
also have a OS9 server on the network. Here is my issue I can connect to the
2003 file server using SMB but Not AFP. I have a Macintosh app that gets
corrupted if I copy it to the 2003 share using SMB. My guess is that one or
both data forks never make it to the share when I use SMB. I can copy the
files to the OS9 server using AFP and everything is happy. However if I
could backup my Macintosh's to the 2003 server I could ditch the OS9 box.
Any clues or directions for trouble shooting AFP connection and file
services for Macintosh on a windows 2003 server.
Thanks
Rick
