I'm new to remote connecting. From my laptop at home I can use dial-up and
am able to connection to my desktop at work. I'm not sure where to go from
here to use the files, drives, and mapped drives on desktop using a Windows
XP home networking ( windows networking ?)
I cannot see the computer I'm connected to. When trying to see and access
it with the Mshome network icon I am told I may not have access to this
server, see administrator and no servers are connected or available. I can
see my laptop computer in the Folders view but cannot see anyone else nor
can I access them through the network including the computer I am connected
to at work. The double monitor icon in the toolbar tells me I am connected
at 33K.
Can someone address my specific browsing problem as detailed above and point
me toward some good information on how to use these features.
Thanks a lot
